This is a pack of two 1 gallon bottles of citronella scented torch fuel. These are used for those tiki torches you see outside in people's yards and sometimes restaurants. It can also be used for small tabletop fires, the kind that have a big cotton wick with them, but it is probably best used outdoors or with really good ventilation.This liquid is perfect for outside on a summer evening. It burns slowly and about as clearly as possible with the exception of giving off that citronella fume that is very irritating to mosquitoes and other bugs. This fuel starts right up with the spark of a lighter, and it stays lit until it is completely bone dry inside the fuel canister of your tiki torch.Overall it does its job perfectly and the even burn with perfect summer citronella scent make it a must-have purchase for anyone planning on spending some time outside this summer. If you don't have even the smallest tiki torches I definitely recommend a couple to stick in the ground near where you sit. This fuel will do the rest. Excellent!
We live in a northern state famous for its voracious biting insects. Sitting outside on an otherwise beautiful evening can easily be spoiled by swarms to no-see-ums and mosquitoes bent on having an outing of their own. We don't like to use chemicals because of our dogs and to keep them out of the environment. Our incense sticks are nice but smokey. So, I opted to use an oil lamp with citronella. I built a couple of lamps and got this product to fire them up.It is nice and clear and has a pleasant smell that the biting insects detest. It burns well with little or no smoke. Right now, the insects are still in their long winter's nap, so I'll have to wait a few more weeks to put this oil to the test. Overall, it seems like it will work based on my experience with citronella oil in the past.Don't let summer pests run you inside. Get a lamp, or fill one you have with this oil and fight back!
i'm really looking forward to spending time in my backyard this summer, and this torch fuel is going to be my best friend. From what I can tell so far, it repels mosquitos well, though they haven't started swarming so much yet. It smells great though, so I'm pretty sure it'll do well.
Zero smoke. Just clean flame!
